The 2024th edition of the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) was held on 12 and 13 June in Lima, Peru. This is one of the most important events for the gaming industry in Latin America.
David Fica, CEO of Land Vegas, commented on his experience at the event: “I was very impressed with PGS 2024. It was great to connect with industry colleagues, interact with potential partners and see the number of people who are interested in iGaming in Peru.”
He also expressed that for the firm, PGS resulted in a tremendous opportunity to make new contacts and reaffirm the good relationships developed in recent years: “ For us, PGS was again a tremendous opportunity to make new contacts and reaffirm the good relationships we have developed over the past few years.”
In relation to the Peruvian market, Fica considers it as very promising, pointing out the interest and support for new and immersive experiences that Land Vegas manages to satisfy. He also highlighted the importance of new regulations in Peru to encourage growth and responsible gaming practices.
Despite not being able to attend the conferences due to his schedule, Fica remained attentive to the topics and discussions, especially those related to responsible gaming in the region, considering this area as a determining factor for the future of the industry.
Regarding his expectations for PGS 2024, Fica commented: “Absolutely! PGS 2024 was a success. For Land Vegas it meant a valuable platform to showcase our project and connect with key market players. We exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with the interest generated.”
Finally, he suggested that for future editions of PGS “it would be a great addition to dedicate more space or specific sections to companies pioneering advances such as video games, virtual reality and the Metaverse. This would allow for greater exploration and closeness with these new forms of entertainment".
Overall, he lauded the organisation of the event and expressed his desire to return next year to witness the continued growth and evolution of the gaming industry in Peru.
